TV Norge’s new offices in Nydalen, Oslo, are located in a building designed by Kosberg Architects. TV Norge is a Norwegian TV channel who wish to express themselves as a forward-looking and playfull office, while at the same time remaining professional. Although most of the building layout was predetermined, the core of their office areas were made more significant by creating an opening extending through several floors with an internal staircase connecting them to the reception. The design of the reception area is in direct reference to TV Norge’s logo: the floor and ceiling are in “TV Norge red”, with a large, white, N-shaped reception desk. Lighting in the same N-shape above, gives the illusion of the desk mirroring itself in the ceiling.
